Text-to-2D

This section details the Text-to-2D feature within Solace Vision.

Text-to-2D

Solace Vision has the ability to create textures, concept images, and even sprite sheets within Unity.

Texture Generation (Material Tab)

One of the most prominent use cases for text-to-2D asset generation is materials & textures. In the example below, the prompt is to generate the side of a wooded crate box.

The Material tab is best suited for text-to-texture generation.

Once generated, name the asset and select the desired folder to which you wish to save it to.

Natural landscape textures such as grass have high-quality output within Solace Vision.

Skybox Generation (Work-in-Progress)

One strong use case for 2D asset generation is skybox generation. This is currently a work-in-progress within Solace Vision as the output does not currently support the necessary image generation amounts (usually 6 images) for a skybox. We are working on this feature!

Concept Image Generation

Another use case of 2D asset generation is concept images. In the example below, a concept image is generated for an industrialized city set in 1930 to help with scene inspiration.

The Image tab is best suited for concept image generation.

Sprite Sheets (Work-in-Progress)

We are currently working on updating our Text-to-2D model which will include better sprite sheet & pixel art outputs.

In the meantime, output may be low quality and inaccurate.
